Green Scab where freckle was?

I just removed a weird freckle I had with Apple Cider Vinegar. It just kind of peeled off when I scraped it and now there is a green scab there. Does anyone know if this means the freckle is completely gone now and it's starting the healing process or if I should still apply acv?
