How to care for my dry sensitive skin?

lately my skin has been very dry and i tend to pick at the little dry patches which i know is bad, so now i have these little scabs and a big one right on my chin. i have been putting polysporin or vaseline on them to heal and moisturize but my facial cleanser is really irritating and just soap does not make my skin feel clean enough. my skin gets oily through the day and i cant think of anything to use that wont make my skin more dry and irritated. will baby wipes for sensitive skin work maybe? and what lotion can i use that won't cause breakouts but will still keep it moisturized? i have lubriderm for sensitive skin for my tattoo can i use this on my face as well?
