Why are blacks still being stereotyped as exceptionally athletic in the US?

And boxing is dominated by eastern europeans now, and MMA is mostly white and white hispanic dominated. But to the point at hand, stereotypes often don't display the truth. Plus QB's, Offensive lineman, tight ends, FB's, and punters/kickers in the NFL are mostly white.
