Would exfoliating using exfoliating gloves help to remove peeling form a sunburn?
The sunburn began about a week ago, whilst I spent a few hours sunbathing in the sun without any sun-cream, then once burnt, I still went back into the sun the next day for an hour - to allow for the sun to help combat the acne on my face (I've been given advice than not only does the sun tan your face, it allows for the acne to heal). I was red with quite some pain, all over my chest and body for a couple of days - during this period I drank a lot of water (8 - 10 cups) a day to help moisturise my skin; as well as using after-sun lotion. But then after a day of no sunburn, I woke-up to find it peeling quite badly, didn't put any lotion on my skin, it got worse the next day - so I put a load of after-sun on. All throughout this period - even when burnt, I used a loofah in the shower to exfoliate my skin to prevent peeling. So during my shower tonight I was thinking of scrubbing my skin vigorously with exfoliating gloves and a moisturising shower gel - would this help to remove the peeling, since this is starting to annoy me? Also will it remove my tan from my body?
